Amidst the potatoes, corn and wheat that are grown in the sprawling and spacious farms of Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling's most athletic competitors emerged. Wilson was an aspiring fitness model at the time she entered the entertainment business at the end of the 1990s. The reason she entered the field came from the WCW backstage tour with her former boyfriend. The two of them ended up taking Scott Steiner to the ring as well, and she remained in the industry for a good ten years in the years following. Wilson also managed the competitors David Flair (occasionally), Billy Kidman, Shanth Douglas, and The Filthy Children, while competing in the WCW circuit. Wilson was offered a job by WWE in 2001 when it acquired WCW. Wilson's athleticism as well as her love of entertainment helped make her an ideal choice for WWE at the time of one of the industries' most significant eras. Wilson played an integral role in WCW's attempt to invade WWE. The two of them teamed with Stacy Kibler, an acquaintance, but sometimes rival, who was her primary teammate. Wilson was an important member of WWE Women's Division following the war had ended. She engaged in many epic battles against Keibler as well as Sable.
