Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin is a native of Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and made her debut as Flora McGrath when she played the role of Flora McGrath in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 years old for Best support Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin was born on July 24 the 24th of July, 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster in the category of Best Supporting actress for playing the edgy and open daughter of Holly Hunter's leading role in The Piano. Following a formal audition, at nine she changed her name to Flora McGrath - the daughter of an Scottish piano player who was muted in the 19th century. Paquin was the main character in Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance in the film as Jane Eyre at the time she was only a child. Paquin did a brief appearance in the 1997 television film remake of Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad which she was in, she played the queen of Spain in a minor role.
