Sheryl Underwood is a comic, television host, as well as an actor in the United States of America. She is best known for her work as The Talk's daytime co-host. Born in Arkansas she grew up in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. Sheryl spent most of her childhood caring for her sister Frankie with polio. As a teenager, she had many problems with her mother. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was being too close with her. She launched her TV job in the year 1992, being a regular comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been appearing as a co-host on The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. Also, she's appeared as the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
