Taylor
Taylor Swift, the rarest pop star, is one who managed to move over from country music to mainstream pop culture, becoming an idol of the pop culture. The singer also swept every continent in the process. Swift let go of the influences from her country music as if they were an additional layer of skin. She revealed that she was among the most talented singers/songwriters in her generation. Swift could make the event personal and use it for her benefit. Her talents could be seen in her earliest tracks, notably the neodue Tim McGraw. But on her sophomore album Fearless released in 2008 Swift could identify the person she was and reach audiences across the globe. Fearless became an enormous success not just in the United States which is where it's Top Ten singles Love Story, and You Belong with Me helped it to achieve six platinum records but also around the world. The album was particularly successful in Canada, Australia as well as the U.K. Swift could build on her progress through Speak Now almost two year later. The next three albums she released, Red (2012) 1989 (2004) and Reputation (2017) and Reputation, Swift's popularity grew and she was able to enter a world of pop music with a clear sense of where she was a part of. Her name was always at the top of pop even after she changed her signature style in her twin albums folklore & Evermore in the year 2020.
