Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The girl is English and half Spanish. Her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her is Argentine from Scottish and English descent. Her mother hails from Spanish as well as English origin. She was the youngest of a household comprised of six children. Four of them are siblings who were born from the same marriage as Taylor's father. Families lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor-Joy says the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to learn English so that she could avoid returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her school of choice after she moved from Northlands. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's plays. She left high school at the age of 16 in order to concentrate on her acting career. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her dreams came true when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
